Account Manager – NYC

Summary

This position is an introductory level to account management. Provide account management handling information requests and confidential materials, performing research for special projects and performing field visits to ensure jobs are running smoothly. This position is expected to work with or without supervision, as per the demands of the work.

  • Maintain and grow client relationships across assigned accounts.

  • Create and track proposals for existing accounts and potential new accounts.

  • Follow up on outstanding proposals.

  • Update a database regularly with accepted proposals, client contact information, DOB information, etc.

  • Work with the Marketing Manager to understand client retention and growth strategies, including the implementation of these strategies within assigned focus groups.

  • Communicate on a daily basis with existing clients.

  • Follow up on outstanding invoices.

  • Attend meetings with the Regional Manager.

  • Update Salesforce and internal spreadsheets regularly with sales activity and client information.

  • Gain new leads by contacting clients via telephone, in-person meetings, networking events, etc.

  • Communicate with other supervisors and managers.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • This is an in-person role with flexible Fridays.

  • 4-year accredited degree

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Salesforce

  • Ability to work with a team
