Joseph F. Zummo

Joseph F. Zummo, the Director of Engineering at BOCA Group is responsible for modernization and installation specifications and drawings, technical surveys and reports, feasibility reports, due diligences, and project support. He primarily works out of the New York City office and has been in the industry for nearly a decade. Mr. Zummo holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology in Newark, NJ and received his Postgraduate Diploma in Lift Engineering from University of Northampton

Mr. Zummo is OSHA-10 certified. He is affiliated with the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE), American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat (CTBUH), Chartered Institution of Building Service Engineers (CIBSE), Elevator Conference of New York (ECNY) and the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA). Mr. Zummo has recently been accepted into the International Association of Elevator Engineers (IAEE). In his free time, he enjoys scuba diving, hiking, and traveling.
